INSTRUMENT RATING COURSE FOR ME P (LAND) AEROPLANES

This rating can be obtained by applicants holding a valid Private or Commercial Aeroplane Pilot’s Licence.

Requirements:

- Unrestricted current Aeroplane Private or Commercial Pilot’s Licence.
- Ratings: SEP, SE-IR, MEP

Ground School Phase:

Having Frozen ATPL (Ground School exams passed) shows the required level of theoretical knowledge has been achieved.

Flight Training:

The dual instrument flight training hours required are carried out in aeroplanes and/or simulators, under the supervision of authorised instructors.

Exams:

At the School, using the school’s facilities or at the Official Centre designated by the Civil Aviation Authority.

Estimated duration of the course:

It usually takes 2 to 4 weeks.
